8,000 members.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of continuing
Moneywise Credit Union's plans as it aims to be the leading credit union
in the North East.

We are looking for a Chief Executive with the experience and
knowledge to lead and direct Moneywise in its continued development.
Through this leadership we are looking for someone who can promote
Moneywise; securing its future and reputation as the leading community
based Credit Union in the North East.

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, you will have a
sound understanding of the financial sector and excellent management
skills. You will have excellent analytical skills with a proven ability
to deliver performance and financial management systems to ensure our
continued compliance with all legal, regulatory and financial
requirements associated with credit unions. You will have the ability to
present performance and financial information in a clear and concise way
to the Board and our wider membership.

As a successful senior manager, you will have a track record of
managing people and services through change, with skills in problem
solving and influencing others. Essential for this post will be: the
ability to work within strict operating protocols and deadlines;
organising workloads and managing competing priorities.

Business Development Manager

To assist with Company growth targets an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager within Moneywise Credit Union.

The main duties of the role are:

  • Responsibility for implementing and delivering a sales growth strategy
  • Account Management of your portfolio
  • Personal sales element – new business and account management
  • On-going training and career development to ensure an improving, competent and up to date skill set
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
  • Working with colleagues to ensure cross selling opportunities are maximised
  • Who are we looking for?

    We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a desire to make a difference and share our enthusiasm and commitment to our business model. You should be able to work independently to engage with new businesses whilst also motivating existing staff members to convert leads. A good team player who shares our ethos and can sell the principles of credit unions.

    Experience of the credit union sector or financial services would be preferable but not essential.

    Competitive salary is negotiable depending on experience, in addition we offer defined contribution pension.
